Do you love working with passionate and talented developers?The World of Warcraft Development team is seeking a full-time Senior Game Producer to help us continue to shape the future of Azeroth. We need someone who can collaborate with an amazing team to turn our ambitious ideas into epic experiences for our players.In this role, you will partner with all development disciplines and other producers to establish timelines, track and balance workloads, and help our team maintain its commitment to quality on significant projects. Join us in solving the exciting challenges that come with developing the most critically acclaimed MMO franchise in the world!This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the completion of project goals as a partner to development leads
  • Own, evaluate, track, and improve on day-to-day workflows and end-to-end scheduling
  • Identify roadblocks and project risks and be involved in finding solutions. Inventive and flexible!
  • Effectively communicate with developers of all disciplines
  • Motivate and support teammates and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Promote and contribute to a culture of inclusion and diversity
  • Mentor others in production skills and techniques

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in game production or project management
  • Demonstrable project management experience in game development with knowledge of agile production environments
  • Ability to manage highly complex scope and creating long-term roadmaps over the course of multiple releases
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of development pipelines and workflows
  • Able to generate data-driven production plans and reports that demonstrate confidence in hitting milestones
  • Comfortable sharing progress reports with a large team
  • Strong people skills. Empathic, yet deliberate.
  • Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative
  • Interest in video games

Pluses:

  • Proficient with Jira and Confluence
  • Passion for game development and MMO games
  • Significant knowledge of World of Warcraft gameplay and systems
  • Experience with development on a live product

These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
