About the role (the mission, why this role exists, the thing you do over and over again)
- Identify and evaluate potential outsourcing partners based on their expertise, portfolio, and capabilities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define the scope of work for outsourcing projects, including asset creation, animation, coding, or other specialized tasks.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with outsourcing partners.
- Establish and communicate clear quality standards and expectations to outsourcing partners.
- Conduct regular reviews of deliverables to ensure they meet the defined quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with finance and project management teams to create and manage budgets for outsourcing projects.
- Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and outsourcing partners.
- Conduct regular meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or challenges.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project specifications, feedback, and agreements.
- Ensure that all parties have access to up-to-date and accurate project information.
- Monitor and manage project timelines to ensure that outsourcing partners deliver assets on schedule.
- Address any delays promptly and implement strategies to get projects back on track.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management and outsourcing coordination within the game development industry.
- Strong understanding of game development processes and workflows.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Familiarity with various aspects of game development, including art, animation, programming, and quality assurance.
