3D Environment Artist

We're looking to build a world-class team of game-makers: folks bursting with creativity, who balance candor with compassion, and always, always, always hold themselves and their peers accountable to what's best for players.The art team's goal is to create a beautiful game for our players. We want visuals that transport our players to another world, fulfill their fantasy for epic adventure, and bring the game to life.We are looking for a 3d Environment Artist to help create an immersive, and engaging visual style for a new IP.What you'll do:

• Report to the Environment Art Director and collaborate with the art team to develop visually rich game environments
• Brainstorm ideas and create rapid prototypes during the concept phase
• Craft kits, props, foliage, tiling materials, and build in engine
• Participate in team critiques
• Stay up-to-date with and share industry trends and technologies
  
  

You are a great fit if:

• You have 3+ years of experience as an Environment Artist
• Your portfolio expresses your artistic skills, and ability to create environments that meet goals (performant, beautiful, and great playspaces)
• You use industry-standard software such as Maya/Blender, ZBrush, Substance, Photoshop or equivalent
• You enjoy building processes, thinking systematically, and experimenting
• Understand what makes for great compositions
• Have worked with modern game engines
• You can work within a team
• You have experience with gaming and can use your perspective to enhance our product through art and design

What we offer:

Annual salary range: $112,000-$164,000
